THE SYSTEM SCALE DIFFERENCE
At System Scale, “Quality You Can Measure” isn’t just a slogan, it’s the way we live. We approach every repair, install, and calibration as if it were our own. That commitment goes beyond simply meeting ISO/IEC 17025 standards. We understand the long-term impact reliable measurements have on a company, and this level of care ensures your documentation and equipment are always accurate, compliant, and secure.
The Importance of ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation
System Scale is proud to have ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. This is the global standard for testing and calibration laboratories, indicating that labs are technically proficient, produce consistent, highly accurate results, and comply with ISO’s highest quality management protocols.
Labs that are certified to ISO/IEC 17025 compliance ratings have passed rigorous testing. Without accreditation, many suppliers and regulatory authorities will not accept test or calibration results.
ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation is a voluntary, third-party review process that assesses a laboratory’s ability to produce precise, accurate tests and calibrations, including factors such as:
- National standards
- Technical staff competence
- Equipment upkeep
- Test and calibration data quality assurance
- Validity of testing methods
- Appropriate item handling
- Test environment quality

What is the difference between NIST (standard calibration) and ISO/IEC 17025?
NIST (The National Institute for Standards and Technology) maintains the master for various measurements, including standards like pound, foot, and second along with units for environmental measurements like temperature and pressure. At System Scale, we calibrate all instruments to NIST for guaranteed precision.
ISO/IEC 17025 is an international standard that shows a company is technically competent and can produce accurate, precise test and calibration results. ISO/IEC 17025 is the most rigorous quality standard in the measurement industry. Most calibration providers have not achieved this standard, but System Scale is proudly ISO accredited.

Our Services
With System Scale, you will always receive the highest quality products and services. We offer three tiers of service, depending on requirements:
